One of the things i have wanted to do for a long time is make my dishwasher quieter. Fortunately we sell a product that will do just this, Dynamat. Dynamat is used heavily in the car industry for making door panels that do not rattle when adding a nice sound system. The way it does this is by adding mass to the door, which in turn lowers the resonance frequency and reducing vibrations and rattles. It also keeps road noise out. Applying this same principle around the home, we can make a lot of normal everyday items much much quieter.

The results were dramatic, especially when i wrapped the pump. I’ll admit, its not as quiet as some of the new dishwashers with a stainless steel cabinet instead of plastic, but i now do not have to turn up the volume level on my sound system in the Kitchen when the dishwasher is running!
