Description of Install: This Mont Tremblant lakefront chalet is located on gorgeous Lac Desmarais, in Quebec, Canada. The customer requested an easy-to-use audio video system with a plasma display,surround sound, and an Mp3 music server. The main living room has a 42” plasma with Bose Lifestyles system. The main deck and the second level (hot tub) have environmental speakers attached. The exercise room also has speakers installed. Control is achieved with the Fusion Research Control system and Fusion Research 5-zone music server. A backup RTI remote control is available in the event the main system should fail.

Special Considerations: First of all, Mont Tremblant is pretty far away from Madison, Wisconsin, the headquarters for True-Aspect. To be exact, it’s 1068 miles away! This obviously presented a problem with service, upgrades, and even the operation of the system. Fortunately, the wiring was pulled by the local electrician, allowing True-Aspect employees to make one trip for the installation. The system has to be easy to operate, since the chalet is a vacation home and also available for rent. It should also be noted that the Mont Tremblant system mirrors the owners home system in Madison.

Overcoming Roadblocks to Accomplish the Install: It was necessary to plan to the nth detail for the trip. To insure proper operation of all system components, everything was set up, programmed and operational at the Madison shop, then taken apart, re-boxed and shipped to Mont Tremblant. Shipping the equipment to the project site created an added expense, as well as out-of-country Customs.
